Critics Reception
To put it simply, most of the critics believe that Elizabeth is exactly what a historical period drama should be like - entertaining, at times inaccurate, but ultimately starring Cate Blanchett - which seems to be the strongest asset of the film. In general, it has become one of the beloved 'must watch' classics for Tudor lovers.
