Critical Reception
The film is generally praised for effectively delivering a lot of information - about Turing's past, personal life, war situation and the team dynamic. The leads Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley are praised for their performances, yet some critics suggest that they could have done a better job with better written characters - especially since Turing's love life and being caught as a gay man were barely explored in the movie.
